It’s not often that top designers let the media inside their homes, however this past December, shoe and bag designer, Christian Louboutin, let ELLE Decor take a sneak peek into his home away from home! Located in Aswan, Egypt (not to far from the Nile River), Christian finds himself escaping to this minimalistic oasis to design more collections, and find peace and relax. He often practices yoga when traveling to his private retreat, which enables him to focus greater when returning to the real world. All of the decor on the inside have been picked up throughout Christians travels around the world, making each piece meaningful and unique to its kind.
